What a lovely surprise reading this book. I enjoyed the story and the characters. Will definitely be reading more of this author's books.
This was a Christian regency romance that was put together well and flowed well except for the repetition. Everything was repeated and something more then 3 or 4 times. The beginning was especially bad. It was a little slow moving, but I really had no idea where this book was going. I knew they would end up together in the end but the getting there was a good story. I liked the book but the repetition and the way the author told you too much has me feeling I probably will not pick up another book by this author. This was very clean only a couple kisses, There was a little preaching but by the characters as they figured things out and it was done well.
Surprise, suspense, and uncertainty carry one along as Jennifer Hudson Taylor leads the reader on a most delightful journey set in days gone by!
Very good clean read. Kept my attention and when I had to stop reading to work, etc. couldn't wait to get back to the book. The characters had great values and faith. It was not only entertaining but thought provoking.
Jennifer Hudson Taylor, once again crafts a story that pierces the heart. Her characters capture the culture of the period making the reader feel a part of the story. The problems and secrets of the hero and heroine are relatable for the modern reader, yet, stay true to the early 1800s setting. Couldn't put it down until I got to the end.
This story pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t disappoint. It is a regency, Christian romance novel, means it has clean romance, inspiring theme of love, redemption and forgiveness all wrapped up in the form of a well written story with suspense and strong well developed characters.
This story had me from the beginning. Everything was so well detailed you felt as if you were part of the story. There were moments that surprised me and moments that brought tears. Very well done! Highly recommend!
